Composite Manhole Cover Material Characteristics

003.jpg

1. Product Overview
The composite manhole cover is manufactured using high-temperature and high-pressure one-time compression molding technology. It is composed of a polymer matrix material reinforced with additional materials and fillers through a precise compounding process.

These manhole covers are commonly utilized in municipal and construction sectors as essential infrastructure due to their outstanding impact resistance and tensile strength, along with features such as wear resistance, corrosion resistance, rust-proofing, pollution-free, and maintenance-free properties.

2. Product Features

*High Strength: The composite manhole cover boasts exceptional compressive, bending, and impact strength. It remains undamaged under prolonged use, effectively preventing "urban black hole" incidents. The cover can withstand up to 50 tons of weight, accommodating vehicles over 40 tons.

*Aesthetic Appeal: The surface of the composite manhole cover is adorned with intricate patterns and vibrant, customizable colors, contributing to urban beautification.

*Lightweight: Weighing only about one-third of its cast iron counterparts, the product is easier to transport, install, and repair, significantly reducing labor intensity.

*Excellent Anti-Theft Performance: Made from high polymer composite materials with no recycling value, the manhole cover naturally deters theft. Additionally, lock structures can be integrated upon request to safeguard internal assets.

*Superior Weather Resistance: The product performs reliably in temperatures ranging from -50°C to +300°C, adapting to various harsh climate conditions.

*Corrosion and Wear Resistance: Produced through high-temperature compression molding, the composite manhole cover exhibits excellent acid, alkali, corrosion, and wear resistance, effectively extending its service life.

3. Installation and Maintenance

*Installation Guidelines: Ensure that the foundation for the manhole cover is even and solid during installation, and determine the inner diameter and dimensions according to the cover size. On cement surfaces, the manhole opening should be reinforced with concrete, and a protective concrete ring should be established around the perimeter for curing. On asphalt surfaces, avoid direct rolling of construction machinery over the manhole cover and seat.

*Maintenance Recommendations: Regularly inspect the manhole cover to ensure it is intact; replace it immediately if damaged. Keep the cover surface clean to prevent contamination or damage.
